In the heart of Mifflin County, our local library stands as a cornerstone of community engagement and a vital hub for learning and connection. Just as One-Stop is dedicated to providing the essential digital connections that empower our residents and businesses, the Mifflin County Library offers a different, yet equally crucial, form of connectivity – access to information, resources, and a space for shared experiences and learning. Following its recent impressive renovations, the library now offers even more opportunities for our community to connect, explore, and grow, both online and offline. We’re proud to support the Mifflin County Library mission by providing a reliable internet infrastructure that not only supports their dedicated staff but also ensures seamless access for the countless patrons who rely on their services for everything from research and job searching to staying connected with friends and family.

To share more about the Mifflin County Library and the vital role they play in our community, we have a message from Library Director, Mrs. Susan Miriello.

“The Mifflin County Library has been meeting the reading needs of Mifflin County since 1842. We encourage you to visit our newly renovated library in Lewistown at 123 North Wayne Street. Thanks to the support of One-Stop, we now offer reliable Wi-Fi access both inside and outside the library. Patrons can also enjoy our public access computers during operating hours. Additionally, Mifflin County Library offers quality children’s programs, take and make activities for all ages, summer reading programs, FBI fingerprinting service for employment, photocopying and fax service, and the latest and greatest bestsellers for all ages to read and enjoy. One area of improvement that we are especially proud of from the recent renovation is our Children’s Library. The ceiling in the Children’s Library was raised by 10 inches, and with the addition of three windows, it’s now a beautifully cheerful space for kids.”

As a locally owned and operated internet company in Mifflin County, One-Stop is proud to be serving the connectivity needs of the LUMINA Center in downtown Lewistown. We’re able to provide them with reliable high-speed internet, allowing them to continue their free programming for the youth in our community.

To truly understand the impact of The LUMINA Center’s work, we’d like to share a message from their Executive Director, Sherri Bickert:

“LUMINA, acronym for Lewistown United Ministries in Neighborhood Action, is a nondenominational faith-based charitable organization whose mission is to share the light and love of Jesus through the offering of FREE programming for our at-risk children and youth. Our programs, which can be viewed at www.lumina-center.org and/or our FB page, are focused on providing academic, mental, emotional, physical and spiritual support, while networking with other community entities to establish a solid and healthy base for our local children to grow into mature, successful adults who strive to make a difference in our community and abroad. As the majority of our funding comes from our local community, networking has become a very crucial part of our ability to thrive. Our connection with One-Stop Internet is a great example. We were struggling with major internet connectivity issues from our previous provider, making even basic tasks impossible. Frustrated by our previous carrier’s inaction, we contacted and switched to One-Stop Internet. Within 24 hours, they were installing new internet and had us back online, problem-free. Our community friends at One-Stop ‘pulled out all the stops’ to ensure LUMINA, its neighborhood community center, could continue their mission without further interruption. Thank you, One-Stop, for caring about LUMINA and our community children and youth!!!”

One-Stop Communication has opened a new Boost Mobile Authorized Retailer store in downtown Lewistown at their existing offices located at 101 East Market Street.

Finding a wireless phone provider with a reliable network in the Juniata Valley can be difficult, especially one with a local support and retail presence. Couple One-Stop’s locally owned and managed operation with Boost Mobile’s newly expanded nationwide 5G network will prove to be a winning combination, providing wireless phone users in the area with even more options.

Boost Mobile has built its reputation as an affordable wireless provider that was operating as an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator). It has recently stepped out of the shadow as a full wireless carrier, with its own 5G network now covering most of the U.S. population, by investing over $10 billion into a new nationwide network. Plus, it has network agreements with other carriers throughout the U.S., making it America’s largest 5G network with 99% Nationwide Coverage.

The new wireless phone store at One-Stop Communications is stocking phones from many of the major phone manufacturers, and there are several promotions for those looking to switch to Boost Mobile, including free phones for those who bring their number from another provider. Customers looking to switch but wanting to keep their existing phones can bring their unlocked device to One-Stop to take advantage of rate plans starting at only $15 per month.

“We are excited to help our customers save money on their wireless phone service and give them access to such a robust nationwide network. After almost 30 years in this business, we understand the challenges wireless customers face in our area and know the importance of selecting the right network for coverage. Plus, we value the local service and support in our store.” says Cody Wian, President of One-Stop Communications.

Boost Mobile focuses on what matters most: 5G performance, reliability, and value—delivering a 5G network experience that rivals or outperforms other national carriers—all while offering significant cost savings. With inflation and rising costs, consumers need a better option without the bill shock.

Unlike other carriers that continue to raise rates, pile on fees, and push extra features or bundles that consumers don’t want or need, Boost Mobile gives customers the freedom to purchase wireless exactly how they want, on the device they choose. Whether you prefer a flagship device or a more affordable smartphone, you get fast, reliable 5G service nationwide with Boost Mobile while saving up to 40% on your annual wireless bill.

Boost Mobile is here to shake up the wireless industry. Their nationwide cloud-native, Open RAN 5G network allows us to innovate faster than legacy carriers, passing those savings directly to our customers. Not only is Boost Mobile’s 5G network fast and reliable, it’s also available in major markets nationwide – with broader wireless coverage available across 99% of the country.

There’s never been a better time to switch to Boost Mobile. New customers can also take advantage of our 30-day money-back guarantee, giving you a chance to try their 5G network risk-free and experience its speed and reliability firsthand in your hometown. For a limited time, One-Stop Communications is waiving all set-up fees to celebrate the opening of their new Boost Mobile store. Plus, existing One-Stop Internet customers will receive a $50 internet bill credit for each wireless phone line activated through One-Stop with Boost.

For more information, visit One-Stop Communication at 101 East Market Street in downtown Lewistown or call 717-248-4996.
