When we install high-speed internet powered by Mifflin County Wireless, the antenna on the outside of your home or business must have a clear line of sight to one of our towers. This means there can be no trees or other obstructions between the tower and your antenna.

When you contact us about service, the first thing we do is verify your address with mapping software to make sure the topography in the area does not block service to you. If that checks out, our technicians will complete a site survey at the time of installation to make sure the mapping software is correct and no trees or buildings are blocking your line of sight to one of our towers.

Our installation technicians are trained to determine the best location to make sure you have reliable service. Sometimes the line of sight to one of our towers is not always easy to determine. In the photo above, one of our antennas is pointed through an opening in the trees to a tower on top of the mountain, which is not visible in the photo.

We want to help as many people as possible get access to affordable and reliable high-speed internet. Service availability can vary from house to house, on the same street, so it is best to contact us so our service department can verify your location on an individual basis.

If you complete the form at www.oscinternet.com, we will start the process to determine if we can help you with high-speed internet and our service department will follow up with you.

This is just one of the communities our installation team has been at frequently to install affordable high-speed internet powered by Mifflin County Wireless.

Riverside Greenhouse in McVeytown continues to grow! This local treasure is well known to anyone with a green thumb, and they continue to upgrade and expand. Construction has started for a new greenhouse at their location, and we are excited to see their continued growth, which only means more plants.

Off in the distance from Riverside Greenhouse on the ridge, you can spot a tower, which delivers high-speed internet to Riverside and the surrounding community from our friends at Mifflin County Wireless. If you can see this tower or any of the other towers they have throughout Mifflin County, you can get fast, reliable, and affordable internet.

No matter how you slice it you will find fresh deli meats and cheeses and made-to-order foods at Sliced on Electric Avenue in Lewistown. This is one of our favorite lunch places and it is right down the street from our offices. We love their paninis, soups, and salads!

Unless you have a birdseye view of their place you will never see the antenna delivering high-speed internet to their location from our partners at Mifflin County Wireless. We are grateful to add them to the growing number of local businesses that have selected us for fast, reliable, and affordable internet.

We apologize for any Mifflin County Wireless internet outages you may have experienced last night or today. The storms that rolled through the area last night caused some damage to our network, including a direct lightning strike to the tower in McVeytown. Tower and network crews worked tirelessly last night and today to restore service.

If you are still experiencing any internet connectivity issues, please power cycle your internet and network equipment.
