The combined companies will operate as One-Stop Communications, with the Mifflin County Wireless and Telecentive brands continuing to operate as divisions of One-Stop Communications until regulatory approval and operations can be reorganized. All office and retail operations will be located in downtown Lewistown at 101 East Market Street, the current office for Mifflin County Wireless. Cody Wian will serve as the President and CEO of the company after the merger has been completed. He has expressed his excitement about combining the three companies, stating, “I am excited to bring these three great resources in our community under one roof and one team. Michael Buffington, the founder of One-Stop Communications, will still be involved with the company, working next to Cody and staff on planning and expansion projects to serve the local community. The three companies are better as one. One-Stop Communications will be focused on expanding affordable high-speed internet to the area with local support and service. Their teams have been working on wireless and fiber expansion projects that will be operational in 2024.
