With the Social TV app from DIRECTV, you can share your favorite programs with your friends right from your TV. How to share your favorite programs:
- Tune in to the show or movie you want to share
- Press the right arrow on your remote to bring up the TV Apps menu
- In the Social TV app, choose Share TV from the left-hand menu
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Facebook or Twitter account
- Choose a pre-written message or write your own, and then select Share
How to see what other people are sharing:
- Press the right arrow on your remote to bring up the TV Apps menu
- In the Social TV app, choose either Global Feed or My Feed to see shows and movies people have shared on Facebook and Twitter
- Select a Facebook or Twitter message to bring up program information
- You can choose to watch that show or movie, set a DVR or share that show with your friends
