We are excited to join Mifflin County Wireless for the ribbon cutting and open house for their new office location.

They welcome the public to stop in to say hello during the ribbon cutting and open house on Friday, December 3rd, during the Festival of Ice and First Friday in Downtown Lewistown. The ribbon-cutting will be at 5:30 pm, followed by an open house until 7:00 pm. There will be pretzel dogs, soft pretzels, and whoopie pies from The Square Café and milk and hot chocolate from the Reedsville Creamery. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win a Google Nest IQ Wi-Fi camera.

​We think the Mifflin Soaring Association clubhouse has one of the best locations in our county, which can be found only steps away from the Mifflin County Airport office and runway.  

They help promote the opportunities for glider pilots to soar the Appalachian ridges that extend from our area southwest as far as Tennessee and Alabama, and northeast into eastern Pennsylvania and New York. Pilots from all over the world visit our area as a result of everything they do to promote what a treasure our community is.
