No matter how you slice it you will find fresh deli meats and cheeses and made-to-order foods at Sliced on Electric Avenue in Lewistown. This is one of our favorite lunch places and it is right down the street from our offices. We love their paninis, soups, and salads!

Unless you have a birdseye view of their place you will never see the antenna delivering high-speed internet to their location from our partners at Mifflin County Wireless. We are grateful to add them to the growing number of local businesses that have selected us for fast, reliable, and affordable internet.

We are local and love to support other local businesses!

We apologize for any Mifflin County Wireless internet outages you may have experienced last night or today. The storms that rolled through the area last night caused some damage to our network, including a direct lightning strike to the tower in McVeytown. Tower and network crews worked tirelessly last night and today to restore service.

If you are still experiencing any internet connectivity issues, please power cycle your internet and network equipment.

Upgrades have been completed to the fiber lines that keep Mifflin County Wireless customers connected to the world. We currently have multiple fiber lines leaving the county for redundancy. During peak internet usage times, they were being pushed to their limits with the number of new customers switching to our internet service, so it was time to complete some upgrades.

We apologize if you are a current customer and noticed any service interruptions last night or early this morning! Mifflin County Wireless was making the final changes needed to complete the fiber upgrades for your internet service. We know running a network and service like this can be complex, and they work tirelessly to make sure it is running smoothly. We are thankful for their quick response to identify issues when they happen!

Our capacity has been doubled on our primary fiber that feeds the core network for Mifflin County, and we are ready to upgrade it again as more people make the switch. We are on a mission to expand high-speed internet coverage throughout Mifflin County, giving users access to fast, reliable, and affordable internet.

We often don’t think about internet connectivity when we think about our local community fairs and events, but more and more, this has become an essential part of many events. This is why we were excited to help when the Mifflin County Youth Fair asked us to help with their internet for this year’s fair.  (August 9 – 14  —  www.mcyouthfair.com)

Our friends at Mifflin County Wireless recently installed high-speed internet at the Mifflin County Youth Park to provide the fair offices with connectivity and installed public wi-fi access points on the fairgrounds. If you visit the park for this year’s fair, you can use this wi-fi for free. Just connect your wi-fi device to Mifflin County Wireless.

We are thrilled to help the Mifflin County Youth Fair with their internet needs and look forward to servicing the park for years to come. We cannot think of a better way to fulfill our mission to expand high-speed internet coverage throughout Mifflin County, giving users access to fast, reliable and affordable internet.
