We just received the email below from MyWireless.org.  Please help spread the word about this and keep your

U.S. HOUSE SET TO DELIVER WIRELESS TAX FAIRNESS

As soon as next week, the House of Representatives will vote on The Wireless Tax Fairness Act, which is intended to protect you and your fellow wireless consumers from any new state and local wireless taxes and fees on your monthly bill for five years.

As a member of MyWireless.org, you know this is something we’ve been pushing very hard to make a reality, and we appreciate how much you have helped so far. We’re almost there.

If you haven’t let your Representative in Congress know that you want them to support this bi-partisan, common-sense legislation, now is the time to do it. And if you’ve already emailed your Representative, it can’t hurt to contact them again now to make sure they know you want them to vote ‘Yes’ on this important legislation.

We think you and other wireless consumers already pay too much in monthly taxes and fees. This isn’t about going door-to-door looking for a handout…this is about going to Congress and asking for a fair deal. Make your voice heard today!

Sincerely,
Team MW.org

We were honored to see the nice article by the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce in their monthly newsletter “The View”.  We had fun hosting the Business After Hours event as featured in the article.

Be sure to visits the chamber’s website to read their monthly newsletter.

Source – The View:
September 29th is known as Saint Michaelmas Day all over the world, however, it is known as Goose Day in the Juniata River Valley.  What better day of the year to hold a fascinating, educational and exciting “After Hours” networking event with One-Stop Communications at the Mifflin County Airport.  Thanks to our gracious host, Mr. Mike Buffington, owner of One-Stop Communications on Electric Avenue in Lewistown, over 150 members and guests shared goose to assure a healthy year ahead.

In the spirit of the location, Mike provided plenty of air related attractions and opportunities.  Geisinger Life Flight  was on display and the pilot and staff provided answers to every body’s questions.

The brand new Mifflin Soaring Association  clubhouse was manned and open for tours.  Sky divers jumped from high above as visitors checked out the MC Flying Club airplane display.  Cadets & pilots from the Civil Air Patrol networked with the crowd and One Stop Communications participated in an informational and fun contest with some exciting prizes.

After enjoying the J.P. Edwards  catered delicacies, served up in the beautiful
picnic pavilion, including goose bruschetta, everyone departed with a freebie bag and loads of valuable knowledge about aviation, Mifflin County Airport and One-Stop Communications.  Many thanks to Mike and his courteous staff.
