On April 13th, One-Stop Communications presented the league with a check for the 2010 and 2011 teams. These funds were used to help buy uniform shirts for the girls in 2010, and will also contribute toward the concession stand for 2011.
The Newport Girls Softball League is headed by a group of volunteers who provide instruction in softball skill development. Girls age 18 and under are given the opportunity to participate in an organized amateur softball activity.
One-Stop Communications of Pa, Inc. is a local retailer that has been providing the local central Pennsylvania market with personal and business communication products for over 14 years. They are located at 126 Electric Avenue, Lewistown, and 100 North 4th Street, Newport.
